DAY 3: Conscious Leaders are EXPERTS at Showing Appreciation

Showing appreciation for others isn’t difficult for conscious leaders. Because they truly value the people around them, they are always seeing them in a positive light and giving them the benefit of the doubt when something goes “wrong.” Learn to lead consciously and your employees’ uniqueness will be easy to discern.

Unconscious leaders are slow to notice when their team is working harder, longer hours. When they are stressed out, feeling low. This is because unconscious leaders are in their own way, often unaware of their surroundings.

When you show appreciation for others, they learn how to appreciate themselves more. If you want a happier, more productive work environment, it’s simple: practice how you show appreciation.

Chris Trew teaches improv classes to people and to businesses, online and in-person. Ready to become a more conscious leader? Schedule a call today.

Conscious Leadership Week was inspired by the book 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership by Jim Dethmer, Diana Chapman, and Kaley Warner Klemp.
