Welcome to “Conscious Leadership Week” at Hell Yes Creative

Can you learn how to be a more conscious leader?

In short: Hell Yes! We’re not all born with the skills required to lead consciously. A lot of us accidentally picked up bad habits when we first joined the workforce. We’ve clocked in for bosses who didn’t allow any play on the job, or who never showed appreciation for our efforts.

But now you’re running your own business. Or you’re seeking a new leadership role at your current job. Whatever it is, you want to be a more conscious leader. Taking an improv class will not only connect the dots we’ve been discussing all week, you’ll also pick up skills that make you a more charismatic and confident communicator.

Want to live life in the moment? Learn improv.

Want to find the positive in every situation? Learn improv.

Want to be an active listener? Want to be a more charismatic communicator? Learn improv.

Reading books about leadership is nice…watching seminars as a team is nice…but getting on your feet and actively working on these skills via improv is the best. Instituting a monthly improv class at your work will spark the habits that lead to a more resilient, playful, and productive culture.

Can’t bring improv to the workplace? Sign-up for one yourself and be the change you want to see. I’m starting a new virtual improv class that meets Monday afternoons at 3:00p CST. Our first session is July 11th.
