On LOL vs. Laughing Out Loud 👇

You’re typing LOL and using the crying laughing emoji a lot but…are you really laughing?

Are you getting the mental health benefits from actually laughing?

That whole “laughter is the best medicine” line holds up. Here’s some science from the Mayo Clinic:

“When you start to laugh, it doesn’t just lighten your load mentally, it actually induces physical changes in your body.”

Laughter can:

Stimulate your heat, lungs, and muscles

Increase endorphins

Activate and relieve your stress response

Soothe tension

…that’s just the short term benefits. The long term effects might wow you even more.

In my improv classes we are always laughing. We’re constantly seeing the results of the work we put in — not just comedically, but we’re seeing happier, more productive, more creatively fulfilled students.

You definitely need more laughter in your life.

You definitely read to the bottom of this post for a reason.

You definitely need to book a 15 minute call with me to talk about how my improv classes can work for you. DM me the word “hell yes” right now.
